ETRA is the Project Coordinator and leads the development of the Environmental Crime Monitoring Centre, the Risk Assessment Module for Decision Support, and the Secure Information Sharing & Evidence Exchange Module.

EUROPEAN UNION SATELLITE CENTRE

The European Union Satellite Centre (EU SatCen), is an Agency of the Council of EU, whose mission is to support the decision making and actions of the EU in the field of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and in particular the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP). SatCen contributes to the definition of user requirements, project needs/assessment, validation of project deliverables, and as an use case leader (PUC3).

CENTRE FOR RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY HELLAS

The Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH) is the only research centre in Northern Greece and one of the largest in the country, and consists of five institutes. In PERIVALLON, CERTH participates through the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) .CERTH-ITI is responsible for the management of scientific and technical aspects of the PERIVALLON project and has a critical role in the project by leading activities and developing tools and solutions.

POLITECNICO DI MILANO

The primary purpose of the Politecnico is the elaboration and transmission of scientific, technological, humanistic and economic-social knowledge, the promotion and organisation of research, the training of students and teachers in various fields. POLIMI coordinates the efforts devoted to develop AI-based geospatial intelligence solutions and tools in Perivallon project.

CENTER FOR SECURITY STUDIES

The Center for Security Studies (KEMEA) is a think tank on homeland security policies within the Hellenic Ministry of Citizen Protection aiming to support security policy implementations in Greece at a strategic level.Within the PERIVALLON project, KEMEA is the leader of the Intelligence picture & PERIVALLON requirements and specifications. KEMEA is also responsible for the pilot use cases co-creation, analysis & definition, as well as the specification of user & security requirements.

UNIVERSITY OF VIENNA

The Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law was founded in 2017 at the University of Vienna's Law School and deals with a wide range of legal issues linked to the digital revolution. In Perivallon UNIVIE is responsible for Ethics, Legal and Privacy monitoring.

UNIVERISITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND LEGAL AFFAIRS IN BAVARIA

The inter-disciplinary research team of the HfoeD examines various domains relevant for policing including cybercrime, radicalisation, extremism, terrorism among others.In Perivallon, is responsible for the Environmental Crime Observatory, end user training and innovative curricula as well as the policy impact and recommendations at EU level.

DRAXIS ENVIRONMENTAL

DRAXIS is a dynamic company that focuses on developing real life environmental ICT solutions and providing specialized environmental consultation services. Draxis will support tasks concerning the acquisition of user and technical requirements and will carry out a statistical analysis of data concerning environmental crime. In addition, Draxis will lead the online monitoring of relevant open data and the dissemination and communication activities.

SMOB is a Romanian software company specialized in real time solutions for business and system integration. In the PERIVALLON project, SMOB is responsible for defining technical specification requirements, designing the architecture and developing, testing and integrating the PERIVALLON platform, one of the key deliverables of the project.

Since 1996, the Dylog Hi Tech Srl has been designing, assembling and marketing X-ray machines for the non-destructive testing of food and pharmaceutical products and for special applications. In Perivallon, will contribute as technical partner regarding Xray images and analysis software development.

MARINTRAFIK OPEREISONS

MarineTraffic is the world’s leading platform for offering vessel tracking services and actionable maritime intelligence. In PERIVALLON, MarineTraffic will leverage its vast collection of historical AIS data in order to train data-driven models which will provide advanced maritime intelligence capabilities.

SAFE FOUNDATION

SAFE is an independent non-profit Foundation, specialised in the design and implementation of EU-funded projects in the security, defence, peace, stability and fundamental rights sectors. SAFE is the lead Partner for pilot testing, evaluation, and training to ensure the effectiveness of the PERIVALLON technological solutions. SAFE will also be responsible for monitoring the correct implementation of PERIVALLON impact pathways.

AGENZIA REGIONALE PER LA PROTEZIONE DELL'AMBIENTE DELLA LOMBARDIA

ARPA is a public body and its missions are to monitor the state of environment of Lombardy, to control compliance and environmental impact from industrial and agricultural activities, to provide the regional politic level with technical and scientific decision support about the environmental policies, to promote sustainable development technologies and practices. ARPA in PERIVALLON project is an end-user; involved in pilot use cases development, particularly dedicated to Illegal waste disposal detection and assessment.

DE WATERGROEP

De Watergroep is the largest drinking water company in Flanders , serving more than 3.3 million customers and hundreds of companies. De Watergroep will contribute to develop the platform and will provide historical data on deposits and discharges in water streams that can be used to test the concept and optimise the user experience.

HELLENIC MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY

The Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy works to achieve the protection of the natural environment and resources, the improvement of quality of life, the mitigation and adjustment to the implications of climate change and the enhancement of mechanisms and institutions for environmental governance.

CARABINIERI CORPS

The Carabinieri Corps is a military-organized police force with general jurisdiction, territorial vocation and international projection consisting of 107,000 Personnel units distributed, throughout the national territory. Specifically, the articulation of the Arma that deals with the environment is the Carabinieri Agro-Forestry Unit Command specifically oriented to the control and care of the territory, in the function of environmental police, to prevent offenses against biodiversity and damage to ecosystems, including the protection of agri-food production.

SWEDISH POLICE AUTHORITY

The mission of the Swedish Police Authority is to reduce crime and increase public safety. The National Forensic Centre, NFC, is an independent expert organization within the Swedish Police Authority with an overall responsibility for forensics.Our role in the project is as a LEA end user to provide input for use cases and for user requirements and to bring our expertise in 3D documentation and analysis.

GENERAL INSPECTORATE OF ROMANIAN BORDER POLICE

The Romanian Border Police (RBP) is part of the Ministry Internal Affairs and is the specialised state institution which carries out the tasks appertaining to it and referring to the surveillance and control of the crossing of the state border, the prevention and fight against irregular migration and against acts specific to cross border criminality carried out in its area of competence. In addition, is responsible for the compliance with the judicial regime of the state border, passports and foreigners and for the keeping of public order and peace in its area of competence under the conditions of the law.

HELLENIC POLICE

The Hellenic Police is a Security Force, with local authority throughout the territory . In Perivallon, Hellenic Police will contribute to pilot use case definition and user requirements specification, procurement of UAV and relevant items and pilot use case planning. In addition, HP will support the development process of Environmental crime monitoring centre and standardization & collaboration among user groups, stakeholders and targeted bodies, related to the PERIVALLON project.

GENERAL POLICE INSPECTORATE OF MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF REPUBLIC OF MOLDAVIA

The General Police Inspectorate is a specialized public institution of the state, which has the mission of defending the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person through activities of maintaining, ensuring and restoring public order and security, preventing, investigating and discovering crimes and contraventions. In PERIVALLON project the General Police Inspectorate is an end-user, where will present its requirements regarding environmental crimes and will test the platform developed within the project.

TAMAR ISRAELI AVANCED QUARRYING CO LTD

TAMAR GROUP specialises in designing and implementing customised solutions for all types of activities in which explosives, threats and illegal materials are used. In PERIVALLON project, TAMAR will be involved in consulting for screening and building a database for screening software, and demonstration of the platform developed in the project.

SAHER Europe is a security research and innovation consultancy based in Estonia, operating at a global level. SAHER Europe will support the development of use case scenarios and inform field demonstrations, together with progressing end-user training and performing evaluation functions. In addition, SAHER Europe will conduct market analysis to support exploitation and sustainability of innovation outputs.

The mission of CENTRIC is to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, policy makers and the public to focus on applied research in the Security domain.CENTRIC's main role in the project is to deliver two technical research components.
